I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
This is the most unique and talented band I have ever seen! I was introduced to their music four years ago by my daughter, Dori. My daughter knows how much I love the cello so, when she saw them for the first time, she immediately called my attention to their music. These men are the most creative and amazing artists of their time! I love all genres of music, and I have seen many bands live...I have never encountered such an amazing performance by another band. They are electrifying! I love classical music as well, and feel these guys are as great, if not greater composers as the masters are/were! Perttu's "Beautiful" is the most amazing piece I have ever heard. It is like your soul is weeping for its beauty when you hear it being played. I love the way they attack metal with their cellos, no one can equal them on the cello! Mikko is an amazingly talented drummer, one of the greats! I love all of the compositions by the guys, there is nothing like it, nor has there ever been! They never cease to amazing me with each new CD. The music is always fresh and new! They are a band that always challenges themselves, and that is what makes them great! I will always be a fan, I am just sorry I didn't discover them sooner! If you become a fan of Apocalyptica, you will be insured a magical ride that is filled with creativity, beauty, and excitement! <3
